CigarPalate is restricted to users 21 years of age or older. You confirmed your age at signup. Creating an account on behalf of a minor or while under 21 is a violation of these terms and grounds for account termination.

CigarPalate is an educational and personal-tracking tool for premium cigar tobacco. It is not medical advice, not health advice, and not a substitute for guidance from a physician. The site does not sell cigars and is not affiliated with any cigar manufacturer or retailer.

Cigar tobacco contains nicotine, an addictive substance, and tobacco smoke contains chemicals known to cause cancer and other serious health problems. CigarPalate does not encourage initiation of smoking. We assume users are already adults who have chosen to smoke cigars and want help understanding their own preferences.

• You are responsible for the activity on your account.
• Don’t share your password.
• Keep your email current so we can reach you about account matters.
• You can delete your account at any time from /profile. Deletion is permanent.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to access another user’s account, scrape catalog data in bulk, or interfere with the operation of the service.
• Upload content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Use the service to advertise, solicit, or harass other users.

Tasting notes and other text you submit remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display that content within the service for the purpose of operating your account. We do not sell or publish your content to third parties.

Parts of CigarPalate use AI to translate your tasting input into richer language and to power the opt-in “Smoke With Me” companion mode. AI output is suggestive, not authoritative — your own tasting impressions remain the source of truth for your palate. See our design philosophy for details.

The service is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we make no guarantee that the service will always be available, that recommendations will suit your taste, or that catalog data is free of errors.

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

If we materially change these terms we’ll update the “Last updated” date and notify active users by email. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.
